King Solomon's Mines

Stewart Granger was an exceptional actor during Hollywood's heyday, but he was always shadowed by major A-list actors like Cary Grant or Richard Burton. He still left his mark in Cinema, playing starring roles in epics like Ceaser and Cleopatra, The Prisoner of Zenda, and Scaramouche. In 1950, Granger signed onto play an Indiana Jones type of role in "King Solomon's Mines", alongside Deborah Kerr and Richard Carlson. Stewart Granger plays the part of Allan Quartermain, a veteran hunter, and explorer who decides to help a brother and sister (Kerr and Carlson) to search for her husband who has vanished looking for treasure in Solomon's mines in Africa. Their adventure takes them through the jungles of Africa, to tribes fighting for honor, and to the heart of the mines. It's a fantastic film and I highly recommend it.
